This Data Deletion Policy explains how your personal data is handled when you delete your Influra account or disconnect connected social media accounts from our platform. We are committed to respecting your privacy choices and ensuring secure data deletion practices.
2) Account Deletion
When you delete your Influra account:
- Immediate removal: Your profile, account settings, and personal preferences are immediately removed from our active systems.
- Personal data deletion: Within 30 days, we will delete your personal information including name, email address, biography, shipping addresses, and profile photos.
- Social media connections: All connected social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) are disconnected and associated tokens are invalidated.
- Communication history: In-app messages and communications are deleted from our systems.
Data that may be retained:
- Legal obligations: Financial records, tax information, and transaction history may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Security and fraud prevention: Certain anonymized data may be retained to prevent fraud and maintain platform security.
- Aggregated analytics: De-identified and aggregated data used for platform analytics and improvements.
3) Social Media Account Disconnection
When you disconnect a social media account:
- Access tokens: All access tokens and permissions are immediately revoked.
- Profile data: Public profile information imported from the platform is removed within 24 hours.
- Media and metrics: Any imported posts, images, or performance metrics are deleted within 7 days.
- Campaign data: Historical campaign performance data may be retained in anonymized form for completed campaigns.
Your Influra account remains active:
Disconnecting social media accounts does not delete your Influra account. You can reconnect accounts at any time or continue using the platform with other connected accounts.
4) Active Campaigns and Collaborations
- Pending campaigns: If you have active campaigns or pending payouts, account deletion may be delayed until these are resolved.
- Brand communications: Essential communication data related to active campaigns may be retained until campaign completion.
- Dispute resolution: If there are ongoing disputes, relevant data may be retained until resolution is complete.
5) Third-Party Data
- Payment processors: Data with payment providers (like Stripe) is governed by their retention policies and may be retained separately for their compliance requirements.
- Shipping providers: Delivery information shared with shipping partners is governed by their data policies.
- Social media platforms: Data on connected platforms remains subject to those platforms' own data policies.
6) Data Deletion Process
To delete your account:
- Log into your Influra account
- Go to Account Settings
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision and provide any required verification
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
To disconnect social media accounts:
- Go to Connected Accounts in your settings
- Select the account you want to disconnect
- Click "Disconnect" and confirm your choice
- Optionally, revoke Influra's access directly on the social media platform
7) Verification and Confirmation
- Email confirmation: You will receive email confirmation when your account deletion is initiated and completed.
- Processing time: Most personal data is deleted within 30 days, though some data may be retained longer for legal compliance.
